ICMC Europe, the Dutch Council for Refugees (DCR) and the Central Agency for Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) of the Netherlands are hosting a two-day conference and site-visit on pre-arrival planning, refugee placement policies and local integration.

SHARE Settlement and Integration Roster

ICMC Europe seeks expressions of interest from practitioners in new resettlement countries to receive targeted, expert support from the SHARE Settlement & Integration Roster. The Roster supports the latter stages of the resettlement process: preparing for arrivals, supporting refugees during the first weeks of arrivals, strengthening local multi-stakeholder cooperation and planning for longer-term integration.

ICMC Europe is delighted to announce the publication of a new edition of the SHARE Magazine, and a renewed programme of SHARE Network activities for 2018-19! During the coming two years, SHARE Integration will engage with a wide variety of actors at European, national and local level, continuing our work in building partnerships for refugee inclusion in local communities across Europe.

SHARE Seminar on Pre-departure Processing and Cultural Orientation

Istanbul 3-4 May 2018, ICMC held, in partnership with the Centralised Agency for Reception (COA) in The Netherlands, an on-site visit and seminar on Pre-Departure processing and Cultural Orientation (CO). The seminar, held at the ICMC’s Resettlement Support Center (RSC) in Istanbul, Turkey, was organized within the frame of the SHARE Integration project.

ERN+ partners Present Innovative European Models for the Protection of Refugees at ERN+ Conference

On Thursday 12 April 2018, IOM - the UN Migration Agency, UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency, and the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) presented the outcomes of a project that developed innovative models to provide more opportunities for protection of refugees in the European Union (EU).
